Why an amp conversation at all
Passive means you pick the power

Leon's Horizon bars are passive — no amplification baked in. That's a feature: it lets you drive them with electronics worthy of the cabinetry instead of whatever's stuffed in a plastic soundbar. But it does mean the amp is your call, and a mismatched amp is the fastest way to make a beautiful system sound ordinary.

The trap

Under-power a multichannel Horizon off a crowded AVR and it never opens up. The client paid for hidden, high-fidelity sound and got "fine." That's a callback, not a referral.

The fix

A clean, right-sized dedicated amp. The Bijou series is compact enough to live in the rack you actually have, and built to make a passive Horizon effortless to commission.
